Stadium(s)
As is the case for most Sydney clubs, the Bulldogs have both a traditional home stadium and a modern super-stadium that they call home.
For a huge match up such as this one, it will more than likely be their massive modern stadium that plays host the ground, so the action will likely take place at the impressive Stadium Australia.
The ground has had a few names since the turn of the millennium when it first opened including the Sydney Olympic Stadium, Telstra Stadium, ANZ Stadium and the Accord Stadium but no matter what you know this vast arena as, it is the home of numerous Sydney based Rugby League clubs, including the Doggies.
The stadium was first built for the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000 and whilst it has undergone lots of changes since then to make it more suitable for a rectangular field sport such as Rugby League, it still retains a more oval set up that most grounds, which can work against the atmosphere as fans are far from the action.
The stadium is a vast one that whilst its overall capacity has been limited since nearly 115,000 turned up to the closing ceremony of the games, it still can host a massive 82,000 fans for Rugby League matches.
Those fans are spread out around a large lower dingle tier bowl that wraps around the whole pitch but the sides of the field feature huge banks of seating, spread out across numerous tiers and it is also here where the corporate facilites for the stadium are found.
Thankfully for a matchup such as this one when there will be a bumper crowd in attendance, the crowd will be red hot and the atmosphere fitting of such a big match up.
As well as hosting the Doggies and other NRL teams, the ground is also the home of the NRL Grand Final and has hosted numerous international test matches.
Location
The ground sits in the Sydney Olympic Park, which was formerly known as Homebush Bay and some older fans still call the ground Homebush.
That puts the stadium around 13km to the west of the downtown Sydney Central Business District and just to the east of Parramatta.
It can take some time for fans to get to the ground, especially on match day and with the infamous Sydney traffic, but there are decent public transportations links via buses and rail.

They can discuss it all with friends, family, fellow fans and for a local match such as this one, they can discuss it with rival fans in the office or other works place or down the pub.
