Leeds won at least one Challenge Cup final in the 1910’s, 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s but it took until 1961 for the club to win their first every national league championship title.
After league titles in 1969 and 1972 and with a Challenge Cup win in 1978, it took until the summer era for them to not only pick up titles once again but for them to become one of the most domain cubs ever.
At the start of the summer era, the club changed name to the Leeds Rhinos and this new branding has almost solely been associated with success as since the Super League era began, they have won numerous Super League titles, a number of League leaders Shield, numerus Challenge Cup trophies and they have even been crowned the World Champions by winning the World Club Challenge on a number of occasions starting in 2005.
