The match takes place at the easy to recognise Canberra Stadium, also know to many as either GIO Stadium or as the Bruce Stadium but no matter what you call it, it is the home of the Canberra Raiders.
The venue has a long history going back to when it first opened in 1977 to host the Pacific Conference Games, and it also hosted the World Cup of Athletics around the same time.
In the late 1980’s, the athletics track was removed from the stadium in readiness for the Raiders to move to the stadium from their then home at the Seiffert Oval in Queanbeyan.
That still gives it a unique look and feel to this very day as the outside of the pitch is still oval in nature and the stands keep their oval and open layout.
Behind both ends of the pitch is a small single tier all-seater stand that wraps around and continues to become the lower bowl of the two touchline stands.
These feature two tiers of general seating and some corporate facilites whilst there is also a small roof covering some of the seats.

Bruce is a mostly urban area that acts as a commuter town for those working in the mostly public sector offices found in and around the capital hill area of the city.
The suburb of Bruce itself is to the northwest of North Canberra, north-northwest of the city of Canberra and almost due north of the capital hill district.
