The match takes place in the metropolis of Brisbane in the state of Queensland, which is one of the hotbeds of the sport, where the stadium itself is located in the suburb of Milton.

Milton is located close to the city centre of the city, around 3 kilometres, or 2 miles if you prefer, from the Brisbane central business district but also right next to the Roma Street train station.
