The match takes place at the impressive North Queensland Stadium, also known to many by its sponsored name of the Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
The impressive modern stadium opened its doors in 2020 and has quickly become one of the most impressive and atmospheric in the NRL.
It is one of the most recognisable stadiums in the sport thanks to its wrap around roof that starts close to the floor outside of the stadium bowl before wrapping around the stands.
It is also an open stadium at one end with three quarters of the stadium been a two tier all-seater wrap around bowl and one end been a small single tier of seats.
One side features the ground corporate facilites to combine for a capacity of just over 25,000 fans.
As well as hosting the Cowboys, the ground has also proven to be popular for representative matches with it becoming the home of the Queensland women’s State of Origin side and also some international test matches.

The Cowboys are located in the city of Townsville, which you have probably guessed in in the north of the state of Queensland.
The stadium has an enviable location just outside of the Townsville central business district and on the banks of the Ross Creek.
