The match takes place at the historic Wheldon Road stadium which is unfortunately the worst stadium in the topflight of any major sport in the UK.

The town of Castleford is located just off of the M62 motorway in the county of West Yorkshire which puts it right in the heart of the sport’s traditional northern heartlands of the sport.
The town is in the district of Wakefield, which is also home to many other professional. semi-professional, amateur and junior clubs as the district is one of the true hotbeds of the sport.
