The match takes place at the aging Wheldon Road stadium, also known as the Jungle, which whilst been an historic stadium, it is one that has certainly seen better days.
In fairness to the club, they have tried there hardest to either move to a new stadium or the upgrade their current one but with limited funds, that has proven to be difficult.
The stadium has poor facilities for fans and the pitch size is far below the minimum standards but one thing it can do is create a great atmosphere.
When full, the stands can host around 10,000 fans but it often sounds like there is twice that many thanks to the fans been close to the pitch but also thanks to the passion of the Tigers fanbase.

The match takes place in the town of Castleford, which is in the Wakefield MDC and that put sit deep in the sports traditional northern heartlands as it sits firmly in the centre of the M62 corridor.
The district the club are based in features the likes of Wakefield Trinity and Featherstone Rovers, with Dewsbury and Batley right on the edge of it and it is also home to numerous amateur clubs.
That makes Castleford and the Wakefield district a hotbed of the sport.
