The match takes place at the impressive MKM Stadium which is one of the largest Rugby League stadiums in England. Location
The city of Kingston-upon-Hull, most commonly known simply as Hull, is at the far eastern end of the M62 motorway which is often thought of as the traditional corridor of the sport’s northern heartlands.
The city is a divided one when it comes to the sport as it houses two topflight clubs, with those to the east of the River Hull traditionally supported Hull KR whilst those to the west of the river traditionally support Hull FC.
Nowadays, both clubs get fans from all over the city and from further afield including up the coast and down into North Lincolnshire.

Although this is a battle between an East Yorkshire side and a West Yorkshire side it cannot realty be classed as a derby game due to the distance between the sides, but it is still a game where there is Yorkshire pride on the line which does add an extra element to it.
